Who we are
AIDSTAR LIMITED (“AidStar”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16026627. Our registered office is Ground Floor, 108-112 Main Road Sundridge, Sevenoaks, England TN14 6ES, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. What we collect
We collect only what we need to answer you and to run the site:
- Enquiry details. Your name, email address, and optionally your company, phone number, chosen service and message, when you use our contact form or email us.
- Client project data. Information you share with us during a project, handled under the contract between us.
- Technical data. Standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, kept for security and troubleshooting.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal data.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To reply to enquiries — legitimate interests, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To deliver services — performance of a contract.
- To keep the site secure and working — legitimate interests.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for at least six years afterwards where required for tax and legal purposes. Server logs are kept for a short period, typically no more than 12 months.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate — for example our hosting provider and email provider — and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on an adequacy decision or on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent safeguards.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@aidstar.uk. We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls and least-privilege practices appropriate to the size of our organisation. No system is perfectly secure, so if a breach affects your rights we will notify you and the ICO as required.
Changes
We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows the current version.
